IMPORTANT: For commercial vehicles (Vito, Viano, Vaneo, Citan, V-Class, Sprinter, X-Class, G-Class, and T-Class), issuing a COC duplicate may take up to 6 weeks. For vehicles with multi-stage type approval, we can usually only provide the first stage of the COC.

You may optionally provide the year of manufacture, although it is not required. It helps us detect possible errors. Vehicles manufactured before 1995 likely do not have EC type approval and cannot receive a COC document.

If you are a business customer or company, please include your VAT identification number. For companies based in Germany or for private individuals, this is not necessary.

If it is not possible to issue a COC for your VIN – for example, if the vehicle is too old or not built for the European market – we will cancel the order immediately and refund the full purchase price.

As soon as the document has been created by the vehicle manufacturer, you will receive an email with the PDF of your COC. In many cases, this copy is sufficient for vehicle registration or technical inspection. The original document will then be sent to you by post or express delivery.
